Cleansing Crystals Under The Full Moon-Cosmic Crystal Visions

Cleansing Your Stones Under the Full Moon

What an exciting day of the year, January 31st.  We have a full moon, a blue moon and a blood moon lunar eclipse shining down on us and most importantly our crystals. A full moon in the second time in one month is known as a blue moon.  This blue moon will look red in some areas as it will cause a total lunar eclipse, also known as the blood moon.  The full moon will get an extra kick of eclipse energy.

What a wonderful day to cleanse your crystals under the moonlight.  Cleansing your crystals resets your crystals and eliminates any negative energy surrounding them and alters their frequencies to bring them back to optimal function.   When you first get new crystals, do cleanse them and eliminate any negative energies picked up from the emotions of those who have handled them.  Once you use your crystals, you will eventually need to eliminate the collection of negative energies that may have been imparted onto them during use.

Gather up your crystals.  Place them in a container and place them under the full moon.  If rain is due, please do not place certain in the rain as water harms it.  This includes, Angelite, Celestite, Calcite, Mica, Opal, Pearls, Lepidolite, Muscovite, Malachite and Turquoise.  Some crystals even dissolve in water, including Selenite and other forms of Gypsum, Halite, and Himalayan Salt Rock. Hematite and Lodestone can rust in water.  Pyrite can produce sulfuric acid in water.  On a rainy night, place these rocks on a windowsill under the full moon.  Remove the crystals before the sun comes out as sunlight can fade some stones.   You can leave them out for the night or even for a few hours.

Now that your stones are cleansed you are ready to start fresh with them.  No negative energies left to pull you down.  A new day for you and a new day for your crystals.
